Jagged Love follows the journey of Haven and Andrew’s relationship from the beginning to the end. Haven has had a rough life. Because of this, she is not very trusting. While working at a coffee shop, she meets Andrew when he stands-up for her against a rude customer. Andrew invites Haven to his art show later in the week. Andrew on the other hand has had it easy. Although intensively private, Andrew had taken a bit step just invited Haven to her art opening as he is coming off a bad relationship. After an extenuating circumstance, Haven ends up staying with Andrew. Even though she is not willing to take Andrew’s help, he is pushy and eventually gets his way. From this moment, Andrew and Haven’s relationship begins to build. Andrew and Haven are drawn to each other but have to work really hard on their relationship.
Overall, Nicole Simone’s Jagged Love is a good story. There was plenty of suspense, drama, and romance. It did take me a while to get vested into the story but once I did, I enjoyed it. I even found myself getting teary-eyed at the end. This was a quick, easy read as I read it over the period of one day.
