Andy starts acting differently and won’t talk to her about what is bothering him. He’s distant and broody, and the closer it gets to Zoey’s upcoming vacation, the more unsettling Andy’s behavior becomes.
Once Zoey leaves for vacation, life doesn’t get any easier for her, until she begins to volunteer at a local horse ranch. There she meets Josie, a former therapist, who spent her career helping orphans. While she is working at the ranch, unbeknownst to her, Josie is helping Zoey better herself and heal.
Zoey and Andy both realize they have issues from their troubling pasts that need to be dealt with during the month that Zoey is gone, and they agree to work on them. By the time she comes home, they’ve both succeeded at putting their previous tragedies behind them and are looking forward to their future together.
On what should be the happiest day of their lives, Andy is completely blindsided by disturbing news from his past. While Andy is away and trying desperately to find out if the information he’s received is true, Zoey suspects a life changing situation that could either ruin her and Andy, or make them completely whole.
Can their relationship survive Andy’s devastation, or will their lives fall apart forever? Will Zoey find it within her newfound strength to hold them together?
I was desperate to find out what the next chapter in Andy and Zoey’s life would be like after the ending in Just Say Yes, book 2. Andy and Zoey have had to fight what it seems like on obstacle after obstacle for their relationship. When they finally got to a place where they could find happiness, Andy is hit with life-changing news. Because of this news, Andy took it upon himself to make a decision for both Zoey and himself; moving back to New Zealand. Zoey realizes that Andy needs this time to try and heal himself so she gives him his time while back in the United States, she is planning how she is go get her man. Zoey gets to New Zealand and gives Andy the little bit of news that she found out at the end of Just Say Yes, book 2. While New Zealand Andy and Zoey’s relationship begins to develop further. The readers also find out a lot more about Andy and his life with his dead family as well as what his life was like when he lived in New Zealand. Zoey also helps Andy to heal as it seems that he has never fully dealt with the deaths of his parents and sisters. Fortunately, the reader get the HEA ending with Andy and Zoey coming back to the United States and living their lives.
Overall, the thought Ms. Andrews’ series was very good. As a reader, her characters where interesting and the plot lines believable and engaging. Beautiful with You provided more insight to why Andy was the way he was and to tie-up loose ends from book 2. I enjoyed Beautiful with You and look forward to Ms. Andrews’ next books.
