Justice Falling is the third book in The Falling Series book by Audrey Carlan. Cami (or Camille as Nathan will call her) is a single mom trying to carve out a life for her and her 5 year-old son in New York. She strips as Gems, and has recently been hired as a receptionist/secretary at Jensen Construction (if you have read the previous books, this is Hank’s New York construction branch). Cami and Nathan’s paths cross when Nathan comes to the company to consult with Hank. Nathan has always been a ladies’ man but he instantly becomes intrigued by Cami and pursues her until she finally goes out with him. Both Cami and Nathan can feel the electricity between themselves. Their story soon begins with Nathan falling in love with Cami’s son (after he finds out about him) and pushing Cami to take their relationship further. Along the ways, Nathan discovers that his best mate is the father of Cami’s son and wants absolutely nothing to do with him opening the door for him to adopt Tanner as soon as Cami will marry him.
This story is a fast-paced, sexy, and an overall good story. The story is well-written and I feel in love with the characters. Cami’s is just nice, simple girl that is relentlessly pursued by Nathan because he always gets what he wants. And oh my, Nathan is a hot, jealous (but not creepy jealous) hot (did I mention that before?) alpha-male. If we would only be as lucky as Cami to have a man that wants us despite all our faults, Nathan would be it. Although I read the whole series in order, I feel that this book would be just as good as a stand-alone but I do admit, I think it made this story better. I loved this book and think it is a definite read for any self-proclaimed book-a-holic.
