At the persuasion of her friend, Ally who was once a barista at t a local coffee shop, begins a new job as a IT person Spotlight Marketing. She is unexpectedly asked for her opinion on a marketing proposal by rich, playboy Copper Brighton. Cooper decides he wants Ally to work on the marketing campaign; and that’s not all he wants from Ally. Cooper finagles Ally into coming to a fancy cooperate party. Ally feels out of place as she hides all her beautiful tattoos to try and fit into the business world. One thing leads to another and Ally finds herself sleeping with Cooper. Vowing that it will never happen again, Ally is suddenly questioned by her boss ; Ally denies sleeping with Cooper. This appeases her boss until her boss calls her back with “proof” that Ally did mix business with pleasure by sleeping with Cooper. Ally is then on a mission to try and figure out who turned over the evidence to her boss.
I thought the book started a little slow at the beginning but by the end, it completely made-up for it and hooked me into reading the next novel in the series. Winter’s writing had off-the-charts sexual chemistry between the characters and a lot of hot scenes. In addition, there was suspense at the end when Ally was trying to figure out where her boss got the evidence that she had slept with Cooper (this is the part where I was completely hooked). This was a quick read. Plush is book 1 of the Billionaire Romance series. 4 Stars
