As the attraction between them grows, Ryan and Echo band together to find out what secret is so important that someone would be willing to kill to keep it under wraps, and when Echo is kidnapped, Ryan is forced into action in order to rescue her from people who are willing to kill to get their hands on his father's research. Will he find her or will time run out on the Seal son's secrets?
Kyrie Kent hates baseball. She hates players even more. When her best friend drags her to a Ravens game, she spends the innings reading a book… Until she gets a glimpse of the closer—a pitcher who draws her like magnet. Fighting her attraction to Easton Holliday is easy. All she has to do is keep her distance, avoid the ballpark, and keep her head down. At least, all that would have worked, but Easton doesn’t intend to let Kyrie walk so easily. When another player vies for Kyrie’s attention, Easton will swing for the fences. But will Kyrie strike him out or let him steal home?
Full disclosure: This is an erotic romance full of hot guys in tight baseball pants, even more guys in tight baseball pants who know how to swing a big stick, and explicit sex.
I squirmed, the tension already building between my thighs. After the game, I’d wanted to console him. But the moment he’d looked at me in the hallway—his frustration turning to something hotter—all semblance of thought had flown from my mind. And when he’d kissed me? Everything had stopped except his body pressed to mine, his tongue owning me.
But I needed to shut this down. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. Too much, too soon. I sat up. “Look, Easton, I didn’t come over here to—”
He leaned over, claiming my mouth with an insistent kiss and pushing me back into the cushions. I put my hands on his chest and tried to shove him away, but he grabbed my wrists and pinned them next to my ears.
His kiss lit me on fire and I couldn’t help but return it, caressing his tongue with mine as he slanted over me, tasting me. When he squeezed my wrists harder, I moaned into his mouth. He worked his knee between my thighs, the thin georgette material of my dress pushing up as he went. God, if he went much farther he’d know how wet I was.
I turned my head, breaking the kiss and taking a breath, but he wasn’t deterred. He fastened his lips to my neck, sucking and licking until goose bumps covered my arms and legs and I arched my back to him. When my pebbled nipples rubbed against his hard chest, I gasped.
He released my wrists and ran his hands down my shoulders, pushing my cardigan and the top of my dress down until my breasts were revealed. The cool air hit them, but soon after his mouth was hot and wet on one while he palmed the other. I dug my fingers into his hair and let my head fall back against the couch.
“Spread your legs.” His voice was sandpaper as he went back to sucking and biting my nipple, my need growing with each nip of his teeth.
I opened my legs and he pushed his knee up higher, until it was almost touching my pussy.
“Wider, Kyrie.” He bit my nipple for emphasis, making me moan and do as he’d said, spreading as wide as I could.
When his knee made contact with me, he hissed. “You’re so hot.”
I dug my nails into his scalp as he switched to my other nipple, giving it the same treatment as he moved his knee against my pussy, steady pressure up and down that had me moving my hips along with him.
Placing a kiss between my breasts, he pulled his knee away and sank to the floor in front of me. He ran his hands up my thighs under my dress and gripped my ass, yanking me forward until I was perched on the edge of the couch.
Looking up at me, his eyes were hooded and the corners of his mouth turned up in a faint smile. Moving his hand around my thigh, he stroked down the wet material of my panties and then back up to my clit. He used his thumb, rubbing my nub through the material and making me ache for more contact.
“You like that?” He asked, the devious smile still playing along his lips. “Tell me.”
“I-I like it.”
“How about this?” He pushed his finger around the fabric of my panties and touched my clit, stroking it in the same motion.
I jumped at the contact and bit my lip. “Yes.” It was a husky whisper.
He licked his lips and my thighs went up in flames.
“Do you want me to kiss you here?” He ran his thumb down and teased it at my entrance.
Say no, say no, say no. “Yes.”
“What if I fuck you here? Ram my cock as deep and hard as I can until you come on a scream. Would you like that?”
No, no, no. “Yes.” I made a keening sound as he plunged his thumb inside me.
“You’d say my name, wouldn’t you?” He pulled his thumb out and licked it clean as I watched.
My heart thumped in my chest and I couldn’t think, only stare as he closed his eyes and relished my taste.
“Say it.” His voice hardened, the edge piercing and ragged.
Heaven help me. “Yes.”
Kyrie was burned bad by a hot-shot baseball player; she wants nothing to do with baseball and its players. Kyrie is is drug along by her best-friend to a Ravens baseball game to watch her friend’s flavor of week play. That is until, Kyrie’s attention from reading her Kindle, is caught by the closing pitcher Easton Holliday. Easton is immediately drawn to Kyrie’s beauty. He begs his best-friend, who is dating Kyrie’s best-friend, to set them up. Easton and Kyrie soon become an item but Kyrie still won’t let Easton have her whole heart. Someone from Kyrie’s past shows-up and she puts back up her wall that Easton has spend so much time breaking down. The supporting characters in Cleat Chaser also play a significant part of the story but the one supporting character that stood out to me was Easton’s sister, Kasey. Kasey was a crud, filthy-mouthed, and crass. For me, she was just a little too much. I really could have done without her character. But other than that, I enjoyed Kyrie’s and Easton’s story. Who cannot love baseball players in tight pants?

ICE (the Elite Forces Series #1) is the first book in a series by Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans. It does end in a cliff-hanger, so if that is an issue for you, wait until the next book comes out but you definitely need to read ICE. That being said, the books starts off hot and just continues on to scorching. Kaleb and Jade have HOT chemistry between them. The writing was funny; especially the banter between Kaleb and Jade. Jade was not one a shy, timid woman; she was strong and tough, going head-to-head with any man that dared to question her or her ability to perform her job. Jade had to on more than one occasion make difficult choices which made the plot suspenseful and interesting. Of course, right when the book was getting good at the end, the story was over to be continued in the next book of the series. This is a definite for anyone that enjoys military/commando stories.

Have you ever heard of an MC that cherish their women? Old ladies that take care of their kids and community? These are the people I write about.
The alpha men with their strong women working together to make their part of the world better. Sure they have wars, questionable practices, alright they could be thrown in jail for what they do but they do it for the right reasons.
My stories start with one. An autistic man that the government trained and his MC values. They go on to expand membership in the MC and change to legitimate businesses. As the MC grows we see more women shining through, holding their own and taming (ok, at peace) with the alphas.
Every book deals with a different subject, domestic abuse, gang wars, human trafficking, disabilities etc. Every book has a strong woman showing how she got to be with her alpha.
I was an account executive that became unemployed when the market crashed. Writing was a labor of love but never a paying one. I am brand new to the author world. When I found people actually reading them I wrote more. With this being number fourteen I still haven’t found a way to make the characters stop talking to me. Now I'm trying to learn about marketing, pages, and review based sales...eeeks. I like writing better!
My heart, my spirit, my body were broken…betrayed by my own blood.
Kylee Parker was no stranger to betrayal. After a tragic incident in her youth, she struggled against the darkness within, all the while fighting to appear normal to the outside world. Focusing most of her time on her teaching career, Kylee went about her everyday life pretending she was not broken, until one day everything changed. Coerced into taking a position out of the country, Kylee finds herself once again battling the terrors of her past. When a mysterious stranger appears in her life, she must decide if she is going to take a chance, or risk being damaged beyond repair.
Alexander Grant had sworn off relationships. While stationed overseas, he never expected to meet the one woman who could change everything...until Kylee. But will his past catch up to them both? Will he be able to save her from the torments of her past, or will they both end up betrayed and broken?
Victoria is a Georgia native, who now resides in sunny Florida with her husband, son, and two amazing boxers. When she isn’t writing you can find her sitting on the beach soaking up the sun or off hiking one of the many trails.
It’s impossible to heal when your wounds are continually ripped open. Hard to survive when someone desperately wants you dead.
Just as Maria and Thompson find love, evil steps in, intending to tear them apart. It will stop at nothing – nothing – to gain the control it seeks for its own purposes. Regardless of who is hurt along the way.
Lost and disconnected from anything that’s familiar to her, Maria struggles to swim to the surface of the dark abyss she finds herself in. Thompson watches helplessly from the sidelines, doing his best to protect and help her, gently reaching out, pulling her to safety. But he also has a daughter to think of. One who is just as vulnerable as Maria. One he must protect at all costs.
The dangers are real, the consequences unyielding. Will Thompson and Maria have a chance to recover their love in the face of evil’s relentless challenge?
Welcome to book three, the heart stopping conclusion to the Healed by LOVE series. It contains adult themes and is intended for those 18 and older.
Like most romance writers, Ami LeCoeur is a romantic at heart, but in her heart it's the classic Romanticism of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
She is also a painter, glass artist, and award winning poet, as well as a writer.
When she isn't traveling, she lives on California's Redwood Coast with her husband and two kitties. She loves her wonderful ocean view, and when the fog comes in - as it always does - she's either curled up with a good book, or busy writing.
If you like Ami's stories, please let your friends know.
Sharing ones thoughts on paper is an intimate experience, and should not be taken lightly. Some days I fear this process, as my mind can be a scary place to dwell. Other days I realize I'm not alone in this journey, and although the very action of expelling ones deepest thoughts onto paper is intensely personal, it is deeply healing. Funny how that works.
The ideas for this book, and the ones that will follow, came at a time when I was hurting, and needed a release that only writing can bring. As a romance lover, I couldn't make myself write of new love, when it is easy to be in love, easy to be mad for each other, easy to have sex every night. Instead, I found a need inside me to re-connect couples, to shine a light of inspiration into a bedroom that has grown cold.
So I will continue to write as Elle Dawson, and be a mom, sister, daughter and friend in my real life. And read books that take me away or speed up my heart.
Mia’s a psychology student with a deep-seated love of skateboarding. Partial to the amateur scene, Mia takes a friend to a local competition to see her heart throb, Mike Onomato, skate. When a new competitor steals the show, though, Mia finds herself captivated. That is, until he sits behind her in the first class of the semester.
Ian’s young, brash, tattooed. An upstart in the skating community, Ian’s driven to a level beyond that of any other amateur on the scene. Being a skater isn’t what Ian’s lawyer father has in mind for his son’s future, though. Now, a pre-law student at the local university, Ian’s stepping up his game, not only for his own liberation, but for the sake of the first woman he ever loved.
When Ian and Mia are forced together on a school project, their mutual attraction turns to mutual aggravation as personal demons begin to surface. Will these two realize how much they need each other?

He was my older brother's best friend.
He was never supposed to be mine.
I thought we would get it out of our system and move on.
One of us did.
One of us left.
Now he’s back, looking at me like he wants to devour me. And all those feelings I’d turned into anger are brewing into something else, something that terrifies me.
He broke my heart last time.
This time he'll obliterate it.
This is a standalone.
“Look at me, Elle,” he says, using the deliciously low demanding voice that once made my toes curl and my eyes roll back, and I have no choice but to tilt my head to give him my attention. “Forget those lame guys you’re dating.
Let me take you out.”
My heart, if possible, spikes further in my chest, overriding all warning of the impending chaos that’s sure to come. I try turning my attention to the poster hanging beside me, but the kissing couple makes me look back at him and the deep green eyes that are burning into mine. My stomach does a flip-flop, the way it always does when he looks at me that way and I try to take my hands back because these feelings are too scary for me to deal with right now, but he holds them tighter, bringing them up to his mouth and kissing the tip of my ring finger. Why did he pick that finger to kiss? I pull harder and he finally lets my hand drop.
“I can’t,” I say, my voice coming out hoarse.
A myriad of emotions flash in his eyes before they settle on determination and I’m forced to take a step back, away from his scent, away from his warmth, and into the cold closet behind me.
I sigh, finally looking away, back down to his naked feet. “I just can’t.” He knows why not. He shouldn’t ask me that question. “What’s Vic doing, anyway?”
His body moves into mine so quickly that I don’t have time to react to his large hands clutching my arms or his face dropping until we’re nose to nose. I just stare, wide eyed, waiting for his lips to fall over mine, but they don’t. He just looks at me, breathes on me, lets me breathe on him, and he groans. And that fucking groan travels from his body into mine and crawls into the core of me, draping over every fiber inside of me.
“What do you want, Oliver?” I whisper against his lips. “What do you want from me? You want to kiss me? You want to fuck me? You want to come into my life like the hurricane that you are and tear down everything I’ve rebuilt and disappear just as quickly?”
His lips brush slightly against mine, just a breath of a touch as he stands there, crowding me like he’s about to devour me. But he won’t. He never goes in for the kill. He just lures me, casts me, reels me in and pulls away. His hands drop and his face leaves mine with the same quickness and I feel a pang deep inside me that I wish wasn’t there.
“I’m sorry,” he says quietly, shaking his head in a movement that makes his hair sway back and forth. His eyes are soft on mine now and I can almost hear his thoughts: I should have never kissed her. I should have never--
My brows rise in surprise at the apology, though. There are so many things I can say to him, but the sudden defeated look in his eyes keeps my mouth shut. Finally, I exhale and push off the wall, standing in front of him, with enough distance between us that we can’t reach out and touch each other.
“It’s okay just… don’t do it again. The kiss the other day was a mistake…” I stop talking and walk past him, putting my bra away and sorting through my underwear drawer like it has some sort of hidden treasure or something. This time when I feel him come up behind me, I drop my head and exhale. He really needs to stop sneaking up behind me.
“Oli—“ I start and gasp when I feel his lips on the back of my neck, soft and warm. My heart thunders and my hands begin to shake inside the drawer so I close my eyes and focus on breathing. He drops another kiss right beside that spot. I never knew the back of my neck was so sensitive. The feeling sends a ripple of sensation down my arms and through my body.
“It wasn’t a mistake,” he says in a husky whisper that makes my flesh break out in goose bumps. “You’ve never been a mistake. You want me to tell your brother that I want to take you out? Is that what it would take?”
