REVIEW Letter's to Molly is an emotional roller coaster ride following the marriage of Finn and Molly Alcott. Molly and Finn have been divorced for 5 years now. Molly finally feels that she is back on track with her life and ready to date again. When Finn stays to help with Molly's yard, for dinner, and then later falling into bed with Molly, things couldn't be better in their lives. One day Molly finds a old letter that Finn wrote her dated shortly after they met each other and began dating. One by one the letters keep arriving chronically their dating, then later marriage, work, children, and eventually the supposed "one" event that caused their marriage to implode-all told from Finn's letters. Finn and Molly relieve each memory both good and bad; both realizing that they should have been sharing their frustrations and emotions the thing they failed to do why they were married. Words along can't convey the intense feelings Letters to Molly evoked. Reading it was like being a part of Finn and Molly's marriage from the highest of highs, to the lowest of lows. It was at times hard to read and at other times, you could help but feel the happiness all brought to life by Devney's gift of writing. Letters to Molly was brought to life by Devney's fans as it was not a "planned" book . She delivered wholeheartedly with Finn and Molly's book. A definite 5-Star book. |
