I thought my luck couldn't get worse than when my long-term boyfriend publicly dumped me. Wrong again. Now, my ex is dating my cousin, and our friend group is embarking on an annual ski trip.
Desperate to save face, I beg Cohen to pretend to like me. To bluff wanting me. To lay it on thick to convince my friends that I'm not heartbroken or hurt. I'm not damaged goods. That I have, in fact, moved on.
But during the trip, things change. Cohen's longing glances make my heart race. His casual, familiar touches stir up new feelings. And his kiss? His kiss makes me yearn for things I've never experienced before.
Toss in one bed, an epic snowstorm, and a gossip circle a mile wide, and I'm praying we don't fumble our fake relationship.
Obviously, I'm always wrong.

Raia has been humiliated. Not only did her boyfriend break up with her right before one of the biggest soccer games of her life, but she also got seriously injured in the same game, ruining her chances of going to Europe to play soccer for the time being. Raia heads back to her hometown to recover and rehab from her injury but falls into a funk. At home, she feels like she has always been in her big brother's shadow since he is a player for the Coyotes professional football team. When her brother's friend and fellow Coyotes teammate, Cohen stops by the see Raia, they fall back into the easy friendship they had when they were younger but now Cohen is starting to see Raia in a different light. When Raia needs a plus one for a ski trip where her ex and his new girlfriend will be, Raia and Cohen come up with a plan for him to be her "boyfriend". The two begin to catch more than friends-with-benefits feelings but the time is coming for Raia to leave her childhood hometown and return to the world of soccer; also, Raia's brother is not happy with either of them for what started out as fake (that he knew about) has turned into a lot more than any brother wants to know about concerning his little sister and best friend.
Faked and Fumbled is for any sports romance, fake relationship, or brother's little sister genre lovers. Cohen was easy to fall for as he is a caring, responsible, successful adult who only has Raia's best interest in mind. Raia is one bad...well, you know. She takes her sport seriously and isn't going to let anyone dictate what she can or can't do. The story was easy to read, full of spice and sweetness, and overall enjoyable romance book.
