Infatuation (Knightâs Rebelâs) is the fourth book of the series by River Savage. It can read as a stand-alone but is so much better if you have read it as part of the series. Infatuationâs main character is Beau, member of the Knightâs Rebels Motorcycle Club and Mackenzie, a woman that Beau has helped in the past. Beauâs sister was abused and eventually killed by her husband. This tragedy had deeply affected Beau. Since he was unable to help his sister, he has vowed to help abused women now escape their situation. Beau met Mackenzie a while back when he helped her to escape her abusive husband. Mackenzie has now showed-up at the Knightâs Rebelâs Compound asking for Beauâs help again. As Beau feels a connection with Mackenzie, he is all aboard helping her in any way possible. Before both of them know it, Beau and Mackenzie begin to fall for each other, even though itâs not the ideal time in their lives or the ideal situation, neither can help how they feel.
Infatuation is by far my favorite book of the Knightâs Rebel series by River. Not only is Beau a protective, alpha (which I love), he is also very sensitive and caring. He really tries to fight his feelings for Mackenzie, deeming himself not good enough for her but he is eventually swayed by Mackenzie. He not only is her saver, he also becomes her best-friend, confident, and eventually her lover. The words coming out his mouth were gold and so, so swoon worthy. I really like Riverâs book because they really focus on the relationships and stories of the Knightâs Rebels Motorcycle Clubâs members, not so much the actual club itself. There is still a MC vibe but it doesnât overwhelm the stories. This is definitely a must-read for anyone who likes a good love story. If you have never read any of Riverâs Knightâs Rebels books and to see if you like the books, I would definitely recommend Infatuation to begin with.
