Wrong by L.P. Lovell & Stevie J. Cole
Five words: I-fucking-loved-this-book! It is dark. It is twisty. It if fucked-up. It was violent. Victoria is a British resident doctor living the United States and on the way up in her field. Through association only, she finds herself to be collateral in a gambling debt. Taken from every familiar and the ones she loves she is thrown into a world of violence and revenge: welcome to Jude’s world. Jude is a third-generation bookie. He collects what he is owed; it doesn’t matter if it in the form of money or a beating. Victoria’s once normal, predictable life then collides with Jude’s violent world. I thought this book was phenomenal. It was unpredictable, violent, and dark. The writing was engaging and kept me guessing the entire book. Even thought it was so twisted, it was also emotional. I read this book over a couple hours and I couldn’t put it down. It does end in a cliff-hanger so I am impatiently waiting for Wrath (Wrong #2). This was a 5-Star to the hundredth degree book.
