Cherish by Dani Wyantt is the second book to Promise which is included as a bonus to Cherish. Beckett and Promise have happily found their way to each other, finally having their wedding and thinking of nothing else but their upcoming honeymoon and Beck on a mission to get Promise pregnant asap if not sooner. After their crummy childhood, Promise has found her happily-ever-after with Beck and her younger brother Jordan has found his biological dad who Promise was supposed to share Jordan’s custody with. But with one phone call, all the happily-ever-after crashes. Jordan’s dad, whom Beck considered one of his best friends, suddenly takes off to Cairo with Jordan without telling anyone. Worried about her brother’s and his dad Louis’s sudden trip, Beck promises his Promise that he will go and get Jordan since she is unable to go. This simple retrieval trip turns into a mess with Beck not returning with Jordan and walking into another mess that Promise had hoped to keep from him. Will Beck and Promise get their happy ending and will Jordan return to the sister that has raised him? You will need to read to find out….
Cherish was a short, hot story. Since Beck was intent on getting Promise pregnant asap, they spent a lot of time practicing which resulting in lots of hot action between the two. You really should read the first book Promise before reading Cherish. I made the mistake of not reading the first book and it did take me a little while to figure out what was going on, who everyone was, and their backgrounds. I enjoyed Cherish. Beckett was a major alpha but was a bit extreme in some instances for my taste. I thought the end of the book ended quite suddenly. There wasn’t much details when Jordan finally did return. The book ends in a HEA skipping time increments to Beck’s and Promise’s future life.
