Friction a SEXY All-New Standalone from Emily Snow is now LIVE!
Former overachiever Lucy WillIams sucks at adulting.
Recent divorce, check.
Pending lawsuit, check.
A move back to Boston to live with her mother, triple check.
It can't get much worse, right?
When she starts her new marketing job at EXtreme Effects, she's positive shit’s stopped hitting the fan. Sure, what she's advertising is a little ... unorthodox, but it pays the bills. And since she's seconds away from becoming Lucy Williams: Wednesday Night Bingo Enthusiast, she needs money to get the hell out of her mother’s house.
The only problem is her boss, Mr. Extreme himself: Jace Exley. He’s everything any sane woman dreams of—alpha, successful, ridiculously gorgeous. He's also Lucy’s worst nightmare. Because like every overachiever, she has that underachiever she brushed off. The slacker who, once upon a time ago, was the object of her dirtiest schoolgirl fantasies.
Jace Exley—with his sarcastic smirk and delicious accent—just happens to be that guy.
And the friction between them?
Well, that's the only adulting Lucy seems to be winning at.

Lucy Williams' life was not turning out the way she had expected; especially since she loved to plan everything in her life. Recently divorced and unable to find a job thanks to her ex-husband, at the age of 27, she is once again living with her mother desperate for work. Little did Lucy know that the minute she answered a Craig's List Help-Wanted ad, her life was about to become "unscheduled". The EXtreme Effect's boss, that is her old school-mate Jace Excel. Jace and Lucy always "hate" relationship; Jace even referred to her as Lucy-I-F-ng-Know-Everything-Williams. Lucy will admit that she found Jace's wild ways and lack of motivation in school disturbing but then again, she never thought she would be interviewing at his "clock" make business. To make things even worse, Lucy thinks Jace is hot at sin. Soon Lucy is really immersed into Jace's world and in more ways than just business.
Friction was a funny, hot romance read. All the things Jace was trying to do to get Lucy to loosen-up a bit were entertaining. I also loved the little peaks we as readers got into Jace's business. Friction has a solid story line, excellent writing, and just enough romance, albeit, Jace's style of romance throw-in to make it a hard book to put down.
